SUMMARY: 

 

The Customer Support Representative serves our Customers and Suppliers by providing administrative support to the Customer Support Supervisor.  This position will act as a resource for various support requirements, such as providing quotes, rates, data entry, and opening and working trouble tickets for each customer we service.

 

LOCATION:

 

Keyport, New Jersey or the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential work from home opportunity in DFW.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Download invoices from Supplier Portals for various clients

  2. Label and email invoices to the appropriate parties

  3. Create Billing Files for Customers

  4. Data entry in multiple portals

  5. Submission of repair tickets to vendors for POTs, PRIs, Coax

  6. Tracking and communication for repair tickets

  7. Placement of disconnect orders with various suppliers

  8. Various Project Tasks such as:

    1. Respond to customer inquiries

    2. Answer telephone calls

    3. Ensure customer documents are completed, accurate, accessible, and stored appropriately.

    4. Assist the project management team, as needed

  9. Attend Company and team meetings as well as onsite and offsite supplier training and events.

  10. Perform other tasks as required.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

 

Key Working Relationships: Customers, Suppliers, Project Managers, and other Team Members.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable amounts of training are provided. 

 

  1. High school diploma, as well as some college studies or equivalent work experience.

  2. Proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

    1. Must have the ability to learn supplier-specific systems and industry-specific software programs.

  3. Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking.

  4. Telecommunications experience preferred.

  5. Customer Service experience a plus.

  6. Ability to work within a cooperative team environment as well as perform assignments autonomously.

  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
