Monthly Bill Audit

D&M has earned a reputation as being “aggressive” when it comes to saving our clients money by thoroughly monitoring their monthly telephony, data, Internet and wireless invoices.

If you are looking to reduce your monthly expenses, D&M can show you how to trim 23% or more off your invoices. Auditing your bills is the first place to start when you want to look for savings. Each month D&M performs a detailed audit of all services, lines, equipment and contracts in place. Using D&M’s proprietary software program, COMMauditor, every facet of the company’s voice, data, wireless and Internet services is analyzed to ensure that the products and services that have been contracted for are being delivered at the contracted rate.

Through strategic alliances with all the service providers D&M works with, all invoices can be downloaded directly into the COMMauditor system. This allows the data to be analyzed in real time and removes the element of human error that is inevitable when the data is inputted manually.

Through years of experience, D&M has created an archive of common and out of the ordinary billing errors that carriers and service providers are known to make. The COMMauditor program searches for these costly errors and employs a complex algorithm that analyzes trends and suggests actions to take that will improve future performance and lower costs.

In addition to the ongoing monthly analysis, D&M will also perform an extensive review of your historical charges to identify costly billing errors from past invoices. If discrepancies are revealed from either a historical perspective or from ongoing operations, D&M’s experienced dispute management team will immediately seek resolution with the carrier/service provider in the form of credits to your account.

Only after the errors are rectified and revised bills are submitted to and approved by D&M will the bill be forwarded to you for payment.

As part of your monthly report, you will receive a summary of all discrepancies, the credit amount sought and the status of the credit.

Clients with significant telecommunication expenses should have procedures to verify the validity of the invoices presented by telco service providers (SPs). This is due to the significant costs and the rising error levels in the SPs' own billing software.
